How do you know when you are anchored in the pits of your own creation? Are they signs to show that it is the time to carry on your journey with life? This article details the tell tale signs that lead to degradation and depression and how you can avoid them.

You are the death of the party. You cannot seem to explain it but you are never in a good mood. You insist of being pessimistic about everything that surrounds you. You prefer to sulk in your corner of the room and let the world pass you by and unpleasant is how others would describe your company. This is just one of the few signs that signals the fact you DO NEED to do something about your life, and it’ll better be quick. Not only does this have an adverse effect on your own personality, but this also has an effect on the people around you, especially the ones who truly care for you and love you. This sort of self-depression and emotional degradation is a dangerous sign of you wasting your life and potentially turning your back on the very things that would give you the spur to progress in life. Do not make this mistake and it is time to change your attitudeand concentrate on the positives of life. You are in danger of being alone and when it is too late to realise it, you will realise that there is no on there for you anymore.

The reason for this continuous behaviour is because you insist on making excises for yourself. The lack of success in your life is simply because of your own internal inertia and procrastination. Many of us are actually capable of achieving what we want in life, but the lack in motivation makes us our own enemies. Stop thinking about things and putting them off and start doing. When you are just lazing around wistfully asking yourself why you didn’t get that promotion at work, or why the woman of your dreams went for another man - look at yourself. You are the biggest cause of your downfall and it is time to start some momentum going and launch yourself into new perspectives.

Another problem lies when you pick up a string of bad habits. You never used to smoke but often find a cigarette in your hand. You never drank much but there is always a bottle of wine somewhere around. You might even take to drugs and you are just a few steps away from addiction. There could be many reasons why people act like that, it could be due to stress, trauma or the inability to cope with the surroundings. Psychologists warn that people in these states often do not see themselves spiralling down into emotional and psychological oblivion. People in this state prefers to ignore the signs around them until it is too late. This should not be the case with you. Whenever you see yourself hopelessly attracted to the undesirable, it is a time to get on with life and move on to more positive things and eventually success in whatever it is you do.
