The Silva Method - Promoting The Power Of Positive Thinking

Posted by on September 11, 2009

The Silva Method was created by Jose Silva in the 1970s. He developed a series of mental and physical exercises designed to get the mind and body to work together to improve one’s life. It uses meditation, visualization and positive thinking to promote an overall sense of peace and harmony within a person. This peace and harmony within you means that you can focus all of your energy on accomplishing your goals.

Silva believes that each human being has two parts, a physical part that interacts with the world around it and a spiritual part that interacts with the unseen world both within and without. By teaching his followers how to tap into unused areas of their brain and body, he shows them how to get the two parts of themselves to work together. This leads to overall harmony in one’s life.

By teaching their mind and body to work for each other instead of against each other, people who use the Silva Method increase their energy levels and boost their self image. This gives them the inner strength to aggressively go after the things that they want. Being able to accomplish their life goals improves their overall outlook on life.

Since the way a person feels about themselves often affects the way that others see them, users of this method often benefit from improved relationships with family and friends. This strengthened support system leads to the likelihood of even more self improvement.

The Silva Method teaches people how to think positively about themselves and the world around them. Positive thinking can be very powerful. If you can go into any situation with the belief that there is a possible positive outcome then you are more likely to find that positive outcome. By getting the mind and body to work in concert this technique gives the user the power to strive for success in every endeavor.
