Conscious Dreaming Secrets

Posted by on April 8, 2010

If you are aware you are dreaming while you are asleep, you are having lucid dreams. This is also referred to as conscious dreaming. Imagine you are in a dream and realize you are dreaming. When you are in this state, you can do just about anything you want in your dream.

The idea of being able to do anything you want in your dreams is amazing to think about, but anyone can learn to do it. It is not hard at all to do and offers an outlet for living out your fantasies and releasing your hidden desires. You can learn step-by-step proven ways to achieve the state of lucid dreaming.

To begin you need to think about what you want to gain. Do you want to have fun and live out your fantasies, or do you want to use lucid dreaming to help solve problems in your life. Maybe you are just curious about what the experience is like. It does not matter what your goal is as long as you keep it in mind and stay confident that you will achieve it.

After you define the reasons for wanting to learn to dream consciously, you can learn the steps to get your mind on the right level. You need to be in the right state of mind to be able to lucid dream. A good place to start is recalling your dreams. This means to remember any dreams you have had.

You need to remember the dreams you have every night in order to start conscious dreaming. Try to remember every detail. A good way to do this is to keep a journal of all your dreams. Keep it beside your bed and record everything you can recall about your dreams. Do this every morning when you wake up. Do not wait until later in the day as you may forget. The longer you are awake the more you forget about your dreams.

Slowly, you’ll begin remembering more and more about your dreams, and you can use your dream diary to jog your memory. Since your mind is already primed to remember your dreams, becoming aware that they’re happening is an easy next step. Many people simply “wake up” suddenly in a dream, becoming aware that what’s happening isn’t real.

In addition to use of a dream diary, another popular method is hypnosis. This can help you achieve the mental state required to enter conscious dreaming. Hypnosis can get people to remember the most minute details of their dreams after only a few sessions. After that, you’ll be ready to start conscious dreaming.

At first, you may discover that you occasionally wake up suddenly during a lucid dream. That’s fairly normal. All you need to do is recall the events of your dream as you fall back to sleep. Try hard to remember them, and you’ll be able to get back into the dream, and even be able to make it do whatever you want it to.

A third way to train yourself to conscious dream is to awaken yourself a couple of hours earlier than normal, then falling back to sleep. You are able to stay more aware in your dreams in this period of sleep, in fact you may feel you are half-awake and half-asleep. You may feel as if you are lying in bed thinking or daydreaming. If you are able to do this regularly, you will find lucid dreaming will come easily.

Remember to pay close attention to your sleeping patterns. That will tell you when the best time is to have dreams of this type. Just remember not to short yourself on sleep too badly, since you’re less likely to have lucid dreams when you’re very tired.

However, good news. It has been found that lucid dreams have a positive effect on insomnia. By lucid dreaming, the effect is that it can teach your mind to close or shut down the distressful and bad thoughts which keep you awake.

It might seem like lucid dreaming is something you can only do after years of study, but that’s not really true. In just a little time, with a little work, you could become a conscious dreamer. Explore your own consciousness, manipulate your dreams and more!

Almost everyone can achieve conscious dreaming. Take a little time to explore these methods and try one or two of them. Release your power of lucid dreaming. You wont believe what you can accomplish.

You have two options to pursue here. 1) You can stall until you have had enough time in between the pain in your previous relationship or 2) start moving on and releasing the past. Being guided to do release work is a way of releasing and freeing yourself from your previous relationship. Think of releasing your emotions and letting go as forgiveness. You are creating energetic area for the amazing, new, healthy, and whole relationship to reside in.

I can hear some of you right now crying “Yeah but, I don’t think he really should be forgiven for his actions. He wronged me and that is just that”! The will it takes to keep a grudge takes up your space. You’re allowing your happiness to be siphoned off from you. It is a slow trickle in your energy level and over time, it will deplete you, if it hasn’t already. Furthermore, that slow energy trickle prevents you from having all of your mind focused in this present moment. When you do not have your power in the moment, do you imagine you’re going to be the perfect creator that you truly are? It becomes that much more impairing. Take your full potential back by releasing and letting go of your past relationship, of judgements that weigh you down, muss up your energy level and prevent you from moving in the right direction to having the life you were born to live. You can speed up the process immensely by getting help from a life coach.

I have found that the topic of forgiving can be a complicated one. Firstly, I’m not speaking of the kind of forgiving where we were excusing someone else’s poor behavior. It is important to have healthy boundaries set for you. And to understand how you feel about who you want in your life and who you don’t, how you desire to spend your time and with whom. It is important to know what works for you and what does not. Get Relationship Life Coaching and Advice for Women today!
